Dr. Yi got her PhD in Comparative Literature from Washington University in St. Louis (1993) and her business training was from Harvard B School and Wall Street of two decades. In combining both abilities, literature and finance, Dr Yi, as CEO of DYF Entertainment, at the height of the global pandemic, successfully acquired and innovated Hollywood Family Film Awards to make it into a major American awards show to be aired by CBS, first time on Jan 27, 2024 in the awards season right after Golden Globe Jan 7 and Emmy Jan 14. This family oriented TV Awards show is a Chinese dream story coming true in America that shows the possibility of a global culture and a common ground to be shared by all - the family values.
